Description | Spreading foot; spherical body; constricted, cylindrical neck encircled by a collar below and a ring above; griffin head with open mouth; handle rising without an arch from shoulder to back of head griffin, cylindrical in section. Handle mended in three places. Ears and top knot of griffin missing, vertical crack in front. Otherwise intact. Very high quality blond clay, fine grained. |
