| Description | Cofradia, white cotton plain weave, three breadths joined with white cotton thread, embroidered in red and lavender cotton, design: small animals birds tree of life, varicolored silk thread used as binding around neck of garment. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 56 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 36 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplementary weft - 2 faced. 3 panels - 4 selvedges each- open sides. Made on a backstrap loom." |
