| Description | Oval food dishes. Boat-shaped. Bottoms flat; sides curved and flaring, ends slightly concave out-side slanting outward and rising to high curve at rim. Three encircling grooces just below rim. Narrow par-allel grooves run lengthwise down inside of both ends. At each end of bottom, a rectangular section of dia-gonal parallel grooves meets grooving of ends. Cross grooves decorate rims. Chisel marks obvious on exter-ior. Marks on interior almost parallel. Numerous worm holes. 304 has a break in one end and II II carved on worn bottom. 305 has a small hole in side and an x on bottom. |
