Description | UE III: same clever composition or wind-rose made of two human heads and of two crouching bulls, apparently meaning "master of all the human beings" - the salmat qaqqadi - "and all the cattle of the plain." the pictographs around are bull, lion, and goat's head and a curious lion-headed bird devoring a spare limb. Clay sealing. Baked and shellacked post-excavation. Jar stopper fragment with roughly incised decoration. |
