Description | Body in the general form of an acorn, the cap below, the domed part above. On the upper part: kneeling winged male (?) (or hermaphrodite?) figure, nude, facing left, left hand on ground, holding a "xylophone" (see below) in right hand. Below handle a palmette. On convex ledge between upper and lower part: wave pattern. Lip once broken off and glued back. Otherwise intact. Fine grained buff clay. |
