Description

Hogi (虎旗 호기 ) “tiger flag”. One of a set of ten “gate flags” (men qi 門旗), two for each of the five directions. Blue silk ground with a tiger standing on its hind legs with its front paws raised in the air. Tiger is holding what appear to be flames and has wings coming from its sides. Bordered on three sides by light brown fringe, wide cut fringe. Three sets of leather ties along side.
