Description

Dark orange bark cloth, unprinted. Oiled. This and 97-120-332B are probably two layers of the same woman’s skirt (pa’u) (Kaeppler). Acquired on the United States Exploring Expedition (1838-1842) by Titian R. Peale. “Man’s dress [garment]” on Peale list.
