Description | Trilingual coin locally issued by the governor of Songkhla (Singgora, Singora) in southern Thailand. The obverse of the coin bears Jawi-script Malay and Thai inscriptions, while the reverse has Chinese: zhen xing tong bao 振興通寶. This is a late 19th c. issue, denominated at 400 bia (= ½ fuang, or sik). |
