Description | Rectangular slab of wood with a small hole on one corner. One side is carved in relief for printing. The image is in the form of a spearhead, or phurpa, outline, with the interior filled with calligraphy (probably a Buddhist prayer). On the reverse, in ink, the numbers 155 P 21- have been written. Original documentation says this is a prayer or charm to protect the holder from the accidental loss of his horses. |
