Description

Vermeule: Carnelian. Intaglio. (Modern Gold Ring Setting) Broken across. An uncertain female divinity or personification standing to right, holding a branch in her right hand and a torch in her extended left. A pile of weapons ? appears in front of her. She is probably Pax burning the spoils of war. Graeco-Roman, in poor style showing extensive use of the wheel.
