| Description | Wooden,with red and black paint. "Red sky dancer mask". Human face with very high sloping forehead with deep,painted,red wrinkles. Deep eye-sockets outlined by black painted eyebrows and a looped band over the nose. Pierced pupils; irises and outlines of eyes painted black. Long,narrow nose; short upper lip; downcurved mouth. Nail driven into back of mask and wrapped in cloth was probably held in teeth. |
