Log on for these FREE live learning sessions every Friday. Perfect for kids in grades K–6 to dig deeper into world cultures, archaeology, and anthropology with demonstrations of hands-on projects to do at home.

Hosted in collaboration with the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration’s Community of Learning.

Mesopotamia was the site for the earliest human cities, and the ziggurat was an important religious building in ancient Mesopotamian cities such as Ur. Students will learn about the lives of people in ancient Sumer, and they will also get the chance to play city planner and design their own cities.

Recommended materials: Blank sheet of paper and a writing utensil.
